Children of Thunder

Children of Thunder

Delusional reverence asunder

Humiliation, and degradation

Lives destroyed through generations

Extortion of the soul

A false prophet with occult undertones

Prophet of the beast

Motivated by money

A sacred mission to bring apocalypse

Bodies found in bags

A tale of two brothers

Who went from riches to rags

I’m retired from reincarnation

Free from karma’s foundation

I am an old soul

Many lives I have known

I break free from this mortal coil

My penance paid

Free from earthly turmoil

Enlightened state

Nirvana’s grace

Metaphysical Garden

In the metta garden I be

Among towering plants

And cups of tea

Wait, wait, wait for me

Beyond the cloud oceans

And spiral seas

Wait, take a break

And the truth you will see

Lie To Me

Lie to me

Sweet hypocrisy

It’s the nature

Of our being

Don’t want to

Face the truth

Sweet delusion

Come, lie to me!

Children of Contrition

Children of contrition

Born deformed

Suffer from addiction

For love they long

No maternal bond

Cries go unheard

Afraid, and in fear

For love they search

No validation

No sense of worth

Thrown away like

So much afterbirth

Children of contrition

Just a midnight decision

Of lust we are spurned

Of dust lest we learn

Be Careful

Be careful what you choose to blog about, especially in this tense political climate. People may become hostile, and offended because they may not agree with your beliefs.

A guy got hostile with me, because I sat too close to him on the bus. I didn’t say a word to him, all I did was sit down. He glared at me for the duration of the trip.

Here are a list of topics that you may want to avoid. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t use these topics, but be careful what you write.

  • Politics
  • Religion
  • Abortion
  • Anything relating to sexual orientation
  • How to discipline your child

I’m sure there’s more I could add to this list, but that’s all I could think of off the top of my head.

Writing Prompt Challenge: Moral Dilemma

Here’s the scenario. Someone has offered you one million dollars to view every site on the Dark Web. You can’t just glance at the sites, you have to view these sites in depth. You will not be prosecuted, but you will probably suffer psychological damage for the rest of your life. Would you do it? Why, or why not?
